EAFF 2012 // Champs Elysées Film Festival

En 2012, The Edge Atlantic Film Festival s’est associé à la première édition du Champs Elysées Film Festival pour une projection exceptionnelle au cinéma Le Lincoln, autour d’une sélection de courts-métrages réalisés par des étudiants de NYU Tisch School of the Arts. La séance s’intégrait dans un cycle de projections de films étudiants d’écoles françaises et américaines. Elle était suivie d’une discussion portant sur l’enseignement du cinéma aux Etats-Unis, en présence de Joe Pichirallo, Chair du département Film & TV à NYU et personnalité incontournable du cinéma américain, et du réalisateur franco-américain Gregori Viens, ancien professeur de réalisation à UCLA.

In 2012, The EAFF collaborated with the first edition of the Champs Elysées Film Festival, for a special screening at Le Lincoln Theater in Paris, presenting a selection of great student films from Tisch School of the Arts. This screening was part of a cycle devoted to student films from different French and American film schools, and was followed by a discussion about film education in the United States, in presence of Joe Pichirallo, Chair of Film & TV Department at NYU and a renowned American film professional. The discussion was led by French-American director Gregori Viens, former filmmaking professor at UCLA.
